Clark Buford Bait, Inc. started with live bait and it is still the largest part of our distribution operation. Clark Buford himself, started with live bait fish that were locally sourced, but later, he played an integral part in developing systems that would help to transport live fish. From there worms and crickets have been added. We pride ourselves on being a dependable source of quality product for our customers.

LIVE FISH TRANSPORT
We actually haul almost all of the fish we handle ourselves, with a few sport-fish species being the only exceptions. We have hauled fish all over the United States. Our trucks have been seen picking up live bait fish in the Dakotas and delivering live food fish into downtown ChinaTown in New York City and Chicago. We are now focused on hauling live sport fish and bait fish.
Mike Buford has planned and equipped many vehicles for the transport of live bait. Through the years, demands have changed and we have changed the equippment to keep up. You may see us on the way to visit our customers.
